Katherine Heigl recently spoke out about being raised living in "a White bubble." She also explains how that realization has affected the parenting style of her adopted children that are multiracial. Katherine Heigl, the "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actor revealed in a recent interview in regards to skin tone, it wasn't a factor for her what she wore when she was younger, but once she talked to her older sister, who was taken in by South Korea, she realized how different society treated each of them. When I inquired of Meg about how she was treated when in public, regardless of whether we were with our parents, the treatment was very completely different. She replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl told her parents she realized the extent of her ignorance. She confessed that she was frustrated and felt it was necessary to use her anger to help her children. Sheigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been married for 13 years. In 2009, the couple adopted Nancy Leigh (12), one of their daughters from South Korea, and Adalaide (8 an African-American child) in 2012.
