Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
One baby was strapped on my back, while another crawled around in the playground. I spent 12 hours days, for months, sanding and stripping wallpaper while carrying one kid. Ha! It was beginning to be clear, but wasn't quite completed. To complete this task, I was prepared to invest a significant amount of money and spend time shopping for my dream home. My sons, my husband and I were looking for the hidden treasures at estate sales to reduce my expenses. Our weekly routine was to walk from Thursday through Saturday through garage and estate sales to purchase a mix of old and new pieces as well as spending the weekdays painting sanding in the driveway. My passion for furniture restoration began when I saw a style that was similar to this. After our home was fully decorated, I couldn't quit! There was an area on the market to sell things. In the end, I had so many pieces I didn't know what to do and I outgrew my space. There were open houses at my house where over 1 000 people could visit in the span of a weekend. They could buy anything they saw in the first floor. Growing Days is the result from this. While my company grew as did our family. I was trying to find that perfect balance between what it took starting a business while also being a mommy. Growing Days was the obvious option. Nora joined us in 2013 and became our fourth baby. My business was going well but I wanted a rest. I decided to put off building my old furniture and spend time with my children. It was time. It wasn't until a couple of months that my phone began to ring. People were calling me and asking for help with the interior decoration and improvements. Most of these people were people who had been through my house during furniture open houses! The time flew by before I managed a large-scale house renovation business. It began with taking clients on one at a pace that I was confident in. It is likely that I'd have laughed had somebody had informed me that my venture was going to be the basis for an upcoming television show on DIY Network. In fact, I laugh a little when I remember the story.
