Noureen was born in New York City on 28 February 1984. She was always interested in becoming an actor. Her journey began with her attending the School of the Arts at Boston University. Noureen then began to audition for various roles. In 2005, she was offered an important part in a movie called West Bank Story. West Bank Story premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival and was additionally screened at festivals around the world. It also received an Oscar nod for Best Live Action Short Film at the 79th annual Academy Awards ceremony in 2007. It was the start of Noureen DeWulf's career. Noureen has been featured in TV series such as Girlfriends, Chuck and Outsourced. In the 90s, she was a child star in films like Alaska (1996) and Now and Then (1996). In 1999, she was well-known after garnering global attention and accolades due to her performance in American Beauty. Following Ghost World, which was highly acclaimed in 2001 and earned her the Golden Globe Award nomination, she then appeared in American Beauty.
