Noureen and Thora

Noureen DeWulf, born February 28, 1984, is a native of New York City. Her entire life she has shown a great enthusiasm for becoming an actress. She began laying the groundwork of her profession when she attended Boston University's School of the Arts. After graduation Noureen started to audition for different roles. In 2005 she got an important part in the film West Bank Story. West Bank Story premiered in 2005 at the Sundance Film Festival, but was also featured in other festivals throughout the world. Also, it received an Oscar nomination for Best Live Action Short Film during the 79th Annual Academy Awards in 2007. The film was the first step of Noureen DeWulf's career. Her first role was as a child actor during the 1990s, appearing in films like The Things I Want for Christmas (1991) Patriot Games (1992) Hocus Pocus (1993) Now and Then (1995) and Alaska (1996). In the aftermath of receiving global appreciation and attention in 1999 for her performance in the film American Beauty, she rose to stardom. She then starred in Ghost World (2001), an award-winning film and was awarded an Golden Globe nod.
