Gina Joy Carano began her career as a fighter, and she was crowned The Face of Women's MMA. She was crowned the "face of women's MMA following her first professional bout in Muay Thai. She holds an amazing Muay Thai performance record, with 12 wins and one loss. She also has one draw. Additionally, she's the first American female winner of a Muay Thai title in Thailand. In her youth she took classes in ballet jazz tap dance as well as horse riding. In high school, she was a star in softball and basketball. Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and other martial arts are part of her training. Seven wins and one loss make up her MMA experience. The strength and skill she displays on the mat, coupled with her easygoing manner of living and beautiful look have made her a major MMA superstar. Haywire and Fast & Furious 6' were two Hollywood blockbuster films she acted in. Her work was often criticized due to her use of sex. Fans continued to show her their affection despite the brutal critiques. Her undisputed talent, her toughness and perseverance make her an inspiration for many.
